Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join their client's dynamic team in California. This position plays a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of materials and inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate processing of orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting shipping and receiving functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and standardized duties in the warehouse/production area, including loading and unloading materials in shipping and receiving.
• Kit parts to the Assembly floor, ensuring orders are accurately issued according to job specifications.
• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including U.S. mail.
• Assemble containers and package products using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Build pallets for shipping, ensuring no damage to products.
• Maintain Main Stores inventory accuracy greater than 98%.
• Process RMA, RGA, and DMF requisitions.
• Cross-train in all functions of material handling and shipping.
• Operate lift trucks and material handling equipment safely.
• Support company goals and objectives, following the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements.
• Comply with Mizuho OSI's internal Quality System policies and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all Material Control operations and procedures associated with the stockroom, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience using Excel is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and shipping policies with common carriers.
• Skill in operating barcode scanner equipment and computer systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and may require certification as a licensed forklift operator.
• Requires 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience. High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Benefits

Pay is $20/hour.

Additional Details

Max Pay is $20/hour. Min Pay is $20/hour.
